The Sephora Disney Jasmine Collection for Spring 2013 includes the Sephora Disney Jasmine A Whole New World Perfumed Body Shimmer ($58 USD / $70 CAD for 50mL), a golden bronze body shimmer infused with the “A Whole New World” fragrance. This limited-edition collection experiences the magical story of Princess Jasmine from Aladdin with vibrant, exotic colors and rich elegance. Available March 2013 exclusively at Sephora.

Each one of the Sephora Disney Jasmine Collection items comes with a quote- and the one for this body shimmer is “Illuminate the possibilities”.

The bottle is pretty much identical to the A Whole New World Eau de Parfum, except it has a pump spray with tassels. I so wish the perfume came in this bottle, because I’ve always wanted a bottle of perfume with the spray pump (but this will suffice for now, haha)! The pump is actually really high quality; thick, woven fabric that has a strong feel to it.

The shimmer powder itself is really beautiful- it has a very light golden bronze sheen. It would look fantastic all over the chest, shoulders, arms and legs during the summer!  It is quite perfumed, so I would only recommend it if you liked the rich scent of the A Whole New World perfume (although the scent doesn’t linger as long).  The shimmer also doesn’t last all day, but it’s a nice little touch for an evening out.

Just a little word of warning… make sure to remove the black stopper plug off the nozzle of the bottle before pumping… or else this happens when you take it off. It’s funny now… but my office smelled like A Whole New World for days and I was coughing shimmer for a while.
