Sephora Metallic Cheetah Purple Dobie Review & Photos

Sephora Metallic Cheetah Purple Dobie

June is going to be a very busy month for me in terms of travelling, and i’m not the most organized packer in the world. However, I’ve recently welcomed the Sephora Metallic Cheetah Purple Dobie ($32 USD / $32 CAD) into my makeup bag stash… and I can’t wait to take it on a few trips this month!

The “dobie” (I haven’t ever used that word to describe a travel bag, have you!?) is part of the new Sephora Collection Metallic Cheetah makeup bags (check them all out here, there’s something for everyone!) and I must say, Sephora makes some of the most awesome makeup bags. Granted, they are quite pricey- but if you do a lot of traveling, you may just save yourself some grief by picking one up.

Cute Sephora embellishments throughout!

This bag almost resembles something looking like a lunch bag, with a top handle and zipper opening (with a cute Sephora embellishment, of course). When the flap opens up, you’ll see a clear compartment with a hook attached overhead- perfect for hanging the bag on the back of your hotel room door for easy access.

The large portion of the bag can hold a surprisingly large amount of products, and there’s even a clear zipper pouch on the front of the bag, and three elastic pouches to hold things like brushes, lip glosses or tools for easy access.

I don’t like having too many compartments, or else the bag just becomes bulky. But this one is the perfect combination of effective storage, functional design (love the fact it can be hung up) and a cute overall look. The material is great quality- something I’ve found with many Sephora bags in the past. It’s resilient, and can be cleaned easily (especially the plastic compartments)! Thumbs up, Sephora!

hello travel friendliness! omg… I always have trouble keeping my stuff tidy while I’m travelling. Case in point, my makeup is all over the shelf at the moment and I didn’t even bring that much!

Should I get it too? lol…

Haha I really love it- if you need something like it, I would recommend the Sephora brand. I have a couple of their makeup bags and they are the best that I’ve found!

I’m not too crazy about the mesh stuff over the cheetah, but I really like that hook.

While the pattern/colour scheme don’t appeal to me, I do like how the bag is structured. I hope that Sephora re-releases this bag later on.
