Shu Uemura Fall 2012 Glow On Blushes

Moving onto cheeks, the Shu Uemura Chocolat-Donna Collection for Fall 2012 features two beautiful blushes, perfect for the autumn season.  These limited-edition shades are inspired by fruit-infused chocolate to go along with the rest of the collection.

The Shu Uemura Glow On Blushes ($18 USD / $21.50 each, available in August 2012) in Framboisier (luscious berry pink) and Apricot (spiced peach) are both soft, silky and pigmented.  They glide on with ease and build color beautifully without looking chalky!

Each blush comes individually packaged as a refill, so you’ll need a compact to put them into (whether its from Shu Uemura or another compact).  I placed mine into my Z-Palette (but I had to stick a magnetic strip on them to help them stick).

These blushes are two of the most perfect universal shades, whether you’re more of a pink person or a peach person.  I’m impressed with their staying power- even though they do fade a bit, I did notice a significant improvement over my typical MAC blush in terms of longevity.  What I like most is that even though they are quite pricey, they aren’t outrageous like some of the products in the lineup.
