It was a wonderful day when Sigma Beauty announced a while ago that they would be selling all of their brushes individually. While their brush kits were phenomenal, it’s always nice to have a couple extras of your favorite brushes (I’m pretty sure I have about four Sigma F80 brushes…). Next came makeup… eyeshadow palettes, eyebrow kits, and their newest launch- eye shadow bases. Once again, we can celebrate the ability to purchase which ever shades we want and even get back-ups of our favorites.
I’m warning you… this is going to be a very picture-heavy post!
You’ve seen these Eye Shadows ($11 USD) before in the Dare, Bare and Flare palettes, as well as the Paris Palette, but now they are available individually. Each eyeshadow comes with a transparent lid so you can see the color through it (super handy) and there are a whopping 30 shades available. The textures include mattes, satins, shimmers, glitters and frosts. While they do vary in quality and some are better than others, none of them are bad. The colors vary from soft neutrals to bold colors and everything in between.
Sigma also launched their all-inclusive brow kit less than a year ago, and while it was a huge hit- it’s not the most travel-friendly palette (it really does include everything)… so I was happy to see that they also launched their Brow Powder Duos ($14 USD), Dual Ended Brow Gel ($12 USD), Dual Ended Brow Pencil ($12 USD) and Dual Ended Brow Highlighting Pencil ($12 USD) individually as well. I already reviewed the kit here.
Eye Shadow Bases
Last, but certainly not least, Sigma has recently launched a fantastic new line of Eye Shadow Bases ($13 USD). They are available in Dare, Bare and Flare trio kits ($36 USD for three, so it is a better value), but its great to know they can be purchased individually if you spot shades from the different kits you want.
These eyeshadow bases are unbelievable! Sigma has really stepped up their game with these gorgeous, creamy eye shadow bases. I don’t even like saying “bases” because these are amazing all on their own! They are so creamy and blend nicely, yet they set and stay put without creasing at all. I love the fact there are matte and shimmery shades, including a nude and deep charcoal!
Here we go… photos & swatches galore!
