Sigma has recently launched their new eyeshadow palettes- and my favorite by far is the new Sigma Flare Eyeshadow Palette ($35 USD). I thought I was gonna be in love with Bare (as we all know i’m a neutral-fiend)…but this one stole my heart. This palette makes me want to play with color and try new things, and the quality is the best out of the three in my opinion.
While Dare has a chunky, powdery shadow and Bare’s dark mattes aren’t as pigmented as I’d like- this palette takes the cake on all fronts. Gorgeous shades (just look at the blue, green and purple!). They are all super pigmented, and theres a good mix of shimmers, mattes, frosts, darks and lights (which I do believe all 3 palettes have as well). Having played around with all 3 palettes- I can say hands down I recommend this one the most (even for all you neutral lovers- you’d be surprised how easy and wearable these colors are). Allure is a tad underpigmented, but its buildable without being chalky (just check out Look #2 and you’ll see how gorgeous it turns out)
This palette also comes with a double ended brush featuring the E55 shader brush and E40 blender brush…probably the best brush-duo-combination you could possibly get. Great for all types of looks, but my favorite (and you’ll see from the photoshoot) is the simple wash of color with thick black gel liner. Beautiful, easy, quick and subtle.
For $35 USD, I simply want to buy this palette for everyone I know. If you’re a neutral lover, and you can’t possibly justify another beige eyeshadow (I’m one of you)…then opt for this palette instead. Or if you’re only able to purchase one, I’d make this one it.
- Price: $35 USD
- Availability: Sigma Beauty
- Overall: My favorite out of all 3 palettes- pigmented, smooth, good variety of color and shades. I just think this one is the most fun, even for a neutral lover like me. All around great quality and the brush-duo is by far the best combination…I highly recommend this kit the most.
