Spring 2012 Trendsetter: Pouty Pop Of Color

Spring 2012 is right around the corner, and I’m starting off the season with a new feature similar to our Look Book, only these looks are taken from the runway (some of which I was there for last September) to be used as inspiration!  Not all these trendsetting looks will be wearable- but that’s where our Spring Look Book will come in handy (starting next month we’ll be showing you our more wearable interpretations of these trends).  Until then… we’ll be dishing out a new top trend for this upcoming spring season so pull out those colours…it’s going to be a bright one!

Our first trend is probably the most anticipated- bold pops of color on the lips paired with a toned down neutral eye (or even a bare eye, touched with a little mascara).  Go for fuchsia pink, tangerine tango or fire engine red- whatever it is…it’s going to be hot.  This look was taken from the Christian Dior Spring 2012 runway, but there were countless other models sporting the same look!  Stay tuned on this week and we’ll show you our favorite products to achieve this top trend for Spring!
