This Or That: Benefit or Hard Candy Boxed Powders?

As much as I love the price tag of the Hard Candy Fox in a Box powders… my heart still belongs to Benefit! I feel as if the packaging is much more sturdy and it’s nice having a mirror inside the lid now. I pretty much collect them!

What about you…which do you prefer?

I have a weird, borderline unhealthy obsession with Benefit’s boxed powders. I just love them so much!

I absolutely love Benefits powders, especially Hoola and Bella Bamba :)

I’m really over Benefit blush so I would say Hard Candy or MeMeMe box blushes. Actually I’m over Benefit in general sad to say.

      Oh no! Why?

They just don’t last on me which is why I like more pigmented blushes as they wear long even with a light hand. My hand down Favorite are the La Femme Blush on Rouge once I started to use those I relised how soft and saturated the base on other high-end brands were including Nars. So in the same line the Sleek, MeMeMe and Tarte ones I enjoy working with more (I need to review those Sleek ones!).

I feel like Nars and Benefits are fool proof for application but doesn’t help with longevity on me.

I’ve never tried the benefit powders before, but the hard Andy ones are not pigmented enough and are too shimmery for my liking!

Definitely Benefit–but that may be unfair as I have not tried Hard Candy’s

I don’t own any of the Benefit ones, and only own one of the Hard Candy boxes in Skinny Dipping! For some reason I’m not into the whole “box” thing and like my blushes to come in good ‘ol plastic containers – haha! ;) Not sure if I’ll ever try Benefit…there are too many to choose from – lol ;)

Definitely Benefit. Hard Candy didn’t even swatch for me =/

I’m definitely on the Benefit side, but the only problem I have is with the new packaging- when Benefit added the flip top and mirror, they completely screwed their customers by dropping 30% of the product. Their average powder was .40oz, and is now .28oz, yet their prices remain the same. Pretty damn disappointing, to the point where I probably won’t repurchase any of the new packaging.

I SO agree! I actually liked the fully-removable top too!
