This Or That: Regular Powder or Baked Mineral Blush?

I love the way that baked mineral blushes look on the skin- they are so undetectable, it actually looks like you’re actually flushing. I also like the fact that they are usually good for your skin too! However, they are really fragile, and I’ve broken my fair share of mineral powders so far… so usually I go for Regular Powder blushes for that reason, although I love the finish and quality of both.

    I prefer regular powder. I don’t really have a reason.. I just tend to choose them over baked powders.

    Regular, I feel like 90% of the baked powers I’ve tried have rubbish colour pay off & pigmentation.

    Regular for me. Its not that I’m against baked but I’ve just reached for regular more. I have a loosed mineral blush (which can be a mess to apply) so maybe I just need to give baked more of a try.

    My favorite blushes are actually the MAC Beauty Powder blushes. I find they’re more finely milled than the regular ones. Mineral blushes are nice, but I find that far too many have shimmer in them.

    I like powder and regular mineral. I’ve never had the best luck with based mineral blushes.

    I honestly never thought about that… I guess I just buy whatever that looks good on the skin. I have more regular ones than baked ones, so that probably means I like the regular blushes better!?

    I just use a powder blush from Isadora…I think it is.

    Honestly, I’ve never really seen a difference. I only own regular powder blushes, so I’ve only tested them a few times, so maybe that’s why, but they just don’t seem to differ that greatly to me

    I wouldn’t necessarily say that I like powder blushes more than baked ones…but I do have a lot more powder than baked

    It depends.

    If I have to choose it would be pressed blush because I don’t like shimmery contours. But I like the subtle sheen of mineral products and the great blending. Also almost all baked blushes are good – but there are a lot of useless pressed blushes. But it shows how versatile they are.

    Most of my favorite blushes are pressed texture but I would miss my baked ones.

    I find a lot of Baked Mineral Blushes to shimmer for me. I like mate to satin finishes for bushes and add the glow with a nice topper whether it a Pan or Baked powder.

    Like most here I mainly go for powder blushes rather than the baked. I truly never gave it a second thought before, but now I’m going to have to start paying more attention to what I’m grabbing for and why I’m choosing it over the others I have.

    I love the way Mineral blush looks as well but with MAC you get less for your money. So while the colors are amazing I feel better about spending it on a regular brush. That way I feel like I’m being “frugal”. ;)
