Top Pick: Cheek Stain

While I don’t use cheek stains too often, I am a huge fan of them for days when I know I have to go from morning to night without any touch-ups (or when I’m headed to the beach…you just don’t have to worry about it). The one that I reach for time and time again is Benefit Posietint! The gorgeous poppy pink shade looks fabulous on both cheeks and lips, giving an extra pop of color while still staying natural and effortless. As much as I adore the original Benetint, I find the super watery texture a little too hard to work with (you have to blend that fast!) but this one is more of a liquid-gel, so it’s easier to work with (it’s the same texture as the latest addition, Cha Cha Tint as well)!

My favorite way to apply it? Dot a generous amount onto the apples of the cheeks and use my finger (or a dark, synthetic brush) to tap it into the skin, focusing a circular motion (that way it reduces any streaky appearance). I like to do 2-3 layers to build the color as desired. This stuff will literally keep you glowing until you take it off- it’s fantastic!
