For years I have been using the Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Prime Time Foundation Primer ($23 USD / $26 CAD) as my face primer. Even though I’m always trying out new ones, I keep coming back to this one! It’s a silicone-based face primer, very similar to the award-winning Smashbox PhotoFinish (however that one seemed to make my sensitive skin go crazy), but at a much lower price tag and zero irritation.
It helps smooth out any uneven texture, large pores and fine lines and it helps keep my makeup looking flawless for much longer. I can’t even count how many bottles of this primer I’ve gone through- so I have to name it as my top pick for face primer!
