Top Pick: MAC Grey/Black Eyeshadows

Continuing on with the Top Picks: MAC Eyeshadows series, today I’m featuring my favorite grey and black shades. I reach for these shades all the time when I’m going for a smoky eye! Also- hurray for upgrading my MAC 4-Pan Pro Palette to new one! So much studier! Here are my top picks:

  • Print (Top Left): An essential satin grey for a smoky eye. Blends beautifully and really helps to create that smoke look, because well, it looks like smoke.
  • Knight Divine (Top Right): A gorgeous, deep pewter. Another must have for doing a smoky eye; this one is quite shimmery though. I love how its dark and sultry, but it’s not quite black. Great in the outer corner!
  • Carbon (Bottom Left): Probably my most-used MAC Eyeshadow ever… whether I’m softening eyeliner or using it as an eyeliner itself, I reach for this shade almost everyday. (Can we have a moment of silence for that huge chunk that was lost in the process of putting together this palette…on my brand new Carbon eyeshadow!)
  • Black Tied (Bottom Right): Black, like Carbon, but with tons of gorgeous sparkle. A great way to take a smoky eye to the next level for a special event!
