The “Top Picks” weekly feature is venturing into MAC Eyeshadows for the next few weeks. I get so many questions as to what my favorite MAC Eyeshadows are, and I can’t possibly choose just one, so not only have I broken it down by color family, but I’m also going to be sharing 4 of my favorite MAC Eyeshadows for each category. Today I’m starting off with neutrals, and here are my top four:
- Gesso (Top Left): This stark, matte white works wonders for brightening up looks. I usually stick to using it on the inner corner or under the brow bone. It’s a fantastic bright white highlighter!
- Blanc Type (Top Right): Possibly my favorite MAC Eyeshadow ever… this Matte2 off-white eyeshadow is my daily go-to for highlighting my brow bone. It has amazing pigmentation and is just a tad lighter than my skintone, so it highlights wonderfully. Also, because it is so pigmented, it works well to “shape” the outer corner and blend out colors in the crease to make them fade gradually.
- Jest (Bottom Left): When I’m in a hurry, this is my go-to eyeshadow. It’s a beautiful pink champagne shade with a frosty finish, so it brightens up the eye in a flash!
- All That Glitters (Bottom Right): Very similar to Jest, but a few shades deeper. If I want to give a little more color to my neutral look, I’ll opt for this shade. It still brightens and looks beautiful, but it’s a little more intense than Jest.
What’s your top picks for Neutral MAC Eyeshadows?
