I can barely remember a time when I didn’t use MAC Mineralized Skinfinish Natural. I never found it to be good enough as a powder foundation, but I love using it as a setting powder. It’s light enough you can use in on top of a full coverage foundation, but it still offers a tiny bit of coverage to even out the skin. It’s super lightweight and undetectable, plus it leave the skin looking just like… skin. I use the shade Light Plus.
These powders don’t follow the regular MAC NC/NW classification system… but they do vary in undertones. I once read somewhere that they actually alternate in pink and yellow undertones, and for the most part I found that to be quite true. Light Plus is yellow, Medium is pink, Medium Plus is yellow, etc. etc. So if you think your MSF Natural is too pink or too yellow, try going up or down just one shade and you’ll notice a huge difference!
What’s your top pick for Pressed Setting Powder?
