Dry shampoo is a lifesaver. I’ve used it for several years now, and out of all of the ones I’ve tried (many high end ones)…this one comes out on top every time for several reasons. It’s affordable, widely available, it has an aerosol spray application, it has a decent smell and quite frankly- it works. On days that I sleep in or need to get somewhere quick without time to shower, or even after a long day, its great to refresh your ‘do before heading out for the evening. The nozzle can clog up a bit if you aren’t careful, but a quick soak in some warm water can fix that.
I said the scent is ‘decent’ because it’s not offensive, yet I just don’t really like it. I find it smells a bit cheap (like their hairspray), but I find the scent goes away after a few minutes anyways so it hardly takes any toll on my final opinion. It’s easy to apply- just section your roots, spray directly, give a quick massage and brush to disperse throughout your hair…et voila! Hair that is good-enough-to-pass-another-day. Don’t expect a gorgeous, flowing, salon-quality mane…. I usually use this then throw it up in a bun just incase, but I’ve found the same results with every dry shampoo. It allows you to go an extra day without people giving you funny stares, it doesn’t give you a freshly-washed and blow-dried look.
