Great news, beauties—ULTA now ships to Canada. Ulta.com officially launched their Canadian site which allows you to shop in Canadian dollars and get your hands on ULTA exclusives without making a trip across the border.
It’s not exactly all sunshine and rainbows though—shipping costs are quite high (with no free shipping minimum), you’re paying the current US dollar conversion and you may still come across Canada-restricted items that won’t ship across the border.
Duties and taxes are added on at checkout, so you won’t have any surprise fees when your package arrives, but when all is said and done, the final price might be a lot more hefty than other e-tailers. For some covetable brands, it might be worthwhile, but I can’t see this new online shopping experience trumping that of Sephora or Beautylish (my two go-to e-tailers) anytime soon.
I’m hoping that this tiny step into the Canadian market might turn into a bigger leap in the future with physical stores (*fingers crossed*) and improvements to the online shopping experience.
