If the new Ocho Loco 2 set was a little too much, perhaps you might want to consider the new Urban Decay Black Market 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Set ($32 USD / $42 CAD), a collection of six mini eyeliners. Almost all of these shades and brand new and exclusive to this kit, so if you’re a collector of this fab eyeliner formula, you may want to take a closer look.
This limited-edition collection is available now and features both neutral and colorful shades in a variety of textures. Whether it’s for gifting, for your own travel bag or even just to try out the formula for the first time, this set is sure to please.
The shades include:
- Ink: Deep navy blue satin (new)
- Apathy: Metallic olive green shimmer (new)
- Riot: Smoky grey with violet and fuchsia micro-sparkle (new)
- Black Market: Charcoal black satin (new)
- Desperation: Deep taupe-grey matte
- West: Dark brown pearl (new)
This set is a great value (not as good as Ocho Loco, but pretty comparable) and if you’re one to never finish up an eyeliner, especially a colored one, then you might like this set.
While I do love the shades included, I feel like it’s more of a complementary set instead of a stand-alone one. The colors are all quite muted, and the pigmentation just didn’t wow me like some shades do (of course I’m talking about Perversion)!
The quality is still the same fantastic formula we know and love from Urban Decay- with a smooth application and incredible wear-time, each one of these shades performed well. In particular, I loved Apathy and West the most!
If you want to expand your collection to include some interesting, unique shades… then you’ll probably like this set. If you’re looking for a solid starter kit, I’d recommend saving up a little more for Ocho Loco 2.
