One of Urban Decay ‘s most popular products are their eyeliners, so it’s no surprise that the original Ocho Loco set sold out in record time last year. This year, they are launching the Urban Decay Ocho Loco 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Set ($59 USD / $68 CAD), a sequel collection of eight, full-size eyeliners (4 of which are brand spankin’ new shades).
This limited-edition collection is available now and also comes with a bonus Grindhouse Double Barrer Sharpener (which I love). Not only does it sharpen these eyeliners, but it includes a jumbo sized barrel as well for all your jumbo shadow pencils!
I’ve been a long-time lover of this eyeliner formula, and after purchasing the huge 15-piece anniversary collection, I’ve developed a bit of an obsession with them. Not only are they beautifully pigmented, but they glide on with ease and keep coming out in gorgeous, unique shades. You can’t help but want them all!
The shades include:
- Roach: Deep copper brown shimmer
- Twice Baked: Rich brown satin with gold micro-sparkle (new)
- Crave: Deepest, darkest matte brown-black (new)
- Perversion: Blackest matte black
- Deep End: Bright metallic peacock shimmer
- Mars: Bright metallic green shimmer (new)
- Ultraviolet: Bright blue-violet shimmer (new)
- Tornado: Dark eggplant pearl (new)
This collection is an incredible value, with each pencil costing less than $9- plus it contains Perversion, which is worth it’s own weight in gold (I still think this is the best black eyeliner ever created). The entire collection features a great range of shades, including four neutral tones and four colours, so you’ll have something to wear for each day (and night).
The quality is fantastic- if you’ve never tried these eyeliners, you must (and this kit is a great way to do so)! They glide on without any tugging, they have rich pigmentation and after a few seconds, they set down and stay put all day long. I found Ultraviolet and Tornado to go on a little patchy, but overall the entire kit was consistently fantastic.
If you’re on the fence about trying these eyeliners out, or you just feel you’ll never finish up a full size- check out the Black Market Set (also from the Holiday 2013 Collection) which features six mini eyeliners for an even better price- review coming soon!
I just wish Urban Decay would create more shades with the texture and intensity of Perversion. It’s just incredible!

A fantastic value set with eight full-sized eyeliners, including Perversion which is the best black eyeliner I've ever tried. I love the fact it includes both neutrals and colors, so there's something for every look. A great way to try out of these long-wearing eyeliners or to give your collection a boost! The bonus pencil sharpener is super handy too!
