The Iconic Flowerbomb Fragrance Gets A Spring Makeover

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Bloom Eau de Toilette

Since its launch in 2005, Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb has grown to be one of the most iconic fragrances of all time, with its grenade-shaped bottle and captivating floral scent. Over the years, we’ve seen different variations of Flowerbomb, from festive flasks to more intense juices. For spring, the classic eau is getting a fresh new twist: Flowerbomb Bloom Eau de Toilette.

The bottle for Flowerbomb Bloom is much like the original’s faceted glass, only stretched out into a slimmer, elongated shape and with a pink metallic cap instead of silver. Like all Flowerbomb eaux, Bloom’s neck has the signature black tab with the brand’s initials on it, meant to look like the pull pin of a grenade.

Inside, you’ll recognize the original’s heart notes of jasmine, freesia, orchid and rose, but there’s also a new “liquid air” component. The synthetic accord was created to represent the freshness of spring, when flowers first start to bloom. Along with top notes of mandarin and pomegranate, the spritz has a lively, invigorating vibe.

As we wish away the days of sub-zero temperatures, we’re loving the spring-y feel of Flowerbomb Bloom. For now, it’s being released as a limited-edition scent, but it could become permanent depending on its success—we’ve got our fingers crossed.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Bloom retails for $95 (for 1.7oz) and $135 (for 3.3oz) and is available to purchase online at
