Dig out the hottest blush shade you own and rock a bright and bold cheek! Blending and placement of the color are essential to prevent the clown-effect, so build the layers until you’ve reached the desired intensity that you want. Remember- this look is focused on the cheek!
Every month we will choose one random Weekly Challenge participant to win a special prize! Do the challenge (either on yourself or a friend), snap a photo (minimum 650px wide) and share it with us by using this form to submit it! All submissions must be received by the following Tuesday at noon EST to be eligible. Have fun and good luck!

- What She Did: ”o achieve this contoured chiseled look… first I primed my skin w/ smashbox photo finish, then applied my MUFE HD foundation in 127 all over except my nose bridge, middle of forehead, and under eye. Then I applied MUFE HD foundation 120 in those empty areas. Blend blend blend! Next, I used my three custom concealer in shade #3 under eye in a backwards triangle shape to brighten the area. Set w/ Laura Mercier’s universal translucent powder. I used about 3 different bronzer’s (MAC -matte bronze, Smashbox – suntan matte, Erno Lazlo – Multi pHase bronzer ) They are all different in shades so I like to combine them for a dramatic gradient effect. I applied w/ my angled contour brush along the tops of forehead, temple, cheekbones, and jawline. For the side of nose bridge area.. I use my doe foot angle shadow brush to sharpen from below the brow bone to the nose. Highlight w/ my MAC shaping powder (pro palette) in accentuate.. along the center of forehead, nose bridge, under eye, chin, and above tops of cheek bones. Voila ;)”

- What She Did: ”Since this challenge was to create couture contours iI add 2 bronzers to the formnula, making it more dramatic, however my lighting is really bad and you can’t see the actual contour. Either way I had to participate.
To create the countour on my nose, jaw line, hollowof cheeks I used: NYC bronzer powder in Sunny and the bronzer from VS ultimate kit. To contrast the shadow created to countour I add a lot of highlight on my nose, top of my cheeks, forehead, browbone, cupids bow and chin.”
