    I am JUST starting to justify splurging on beauty products – my number one thing I didn’t feel as guilty for spending more than necessary is foundation and a mac duo fibre brush (although I don’t really use brushes that much anymore because I’ve switched to bb cream…) I guess maybe those splurges weren’t worth it now that i think about it eh? but definitely will be buying higher end face products from now on (ie. bb creams!)

    I think that foundation should be splurged on for sure, if at all possible. I’ve tried dozens of foundations, high-end and drugstore, and I haven’t found a drugstore foundation I’ve liked as much as UD Naked Skin or Laura Mercier Silk Creme. I also tend to splurge on concealer, because I find it hard to find a full coverage drugstore concealer. I do like Revlon Photoready concealer, though. I’m going to repurchase it tomorrow.

    I say a good eye primer! But Foundation or Concealer and Brushes are up there as well for me.
