Weekly Roundup [Feb 12, 2012]

Happy Sunday! Hope you’re all having a fab weekend.  Today, I’m going to force my dear mother to tackle some homemade macarons… I’m still trying to decide on what flavour to make (I’m thinking chocolate, but I think she’s going to want something coconut-ish).  If any of you have any tips for baking macarons, I’d greatly appreciate them! Or, if you want to leave another recipe you think I’d like…maybe I’ll try that next.

Here are some of the top posts from the week, just in case you missed any! I got some great feedback from you guys on the new colourful background that I added to some of the MAC Shop MAC Cook MAC photos…so I think that I’m going to start trying to do that more.  I’ll definitely the regular photos on a white background as always, but I think its nice to spice it up and add some color to make some of the shots a little more pretty (plus I think the patterns and color actually help to create a better contrast in the photo).
