Weekly Roundup [July 8, 2012]

One week into July already, wow! Also- one week since I moved into this apartment! I can’t believe how fast time flies… On my agenda today is to finish unpacking and getting this place in tip top shape!

I’m thinking about making the switch to Canon.  I’ve been using my Nikon D7000 for a while now, and its an excellent camera… but filming and taking self portraits is such a pain because there is no flip-out screen! I bought a Canon 60D to try out, which is basically the equivalent of my camera but in Canon’s line… and so far it’s been fairly good. It feels lighter than my camera, but I think I could get used to that. If you have any advice or opinions on Canon vs. Nikon- let me know! I want a camera that is great for macro product photography, portraits and for filming!
