When I was in Toronto, I had to make a stop at the MAC Pro store, because I don’t have one here in Ottawa. I’ve been loving the look of the new MAC Pro Palettes and inserts, and I really wanted to try to get a little creative. I picked up one of the new MAC Pro Large Duo Palettes as well as a few inserts. The Large Duo palette is a two-sided book palette with a plastic divider and can house two different inserts (whether its the X6 Blush, X15 Eyeshadow, X12 Cream or X24 Cream). It resembles the famous Japonesque palettes, although I think this one just looks so much more sleek and I love the fact the inserts are customizable.
What I need is some help deciding exactly what I want to do with this palette… Do I want to use one 12-well and one 24-well to create a face & lip palette? What about two 24-well inserts and make a book of my all-time favorite lipsticks? Maybe I should create a total-face palette with some foundations, concealers, cream blushes, gel eyeliners, lipsticks and lip balms? How about one side with lipsticks and the other side with eyeshadows (I have an eyeshadow insert too). This is going to be for me, not for my kit, and hopefully something that will make traveling a lot easier… so what do you think I should do with it?
Leave a comment and let me know what you think I should do- and I might just do a blog post on it!
