Wishlist: Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Foundation

One of the main things I look for in a foundation is longevity. I want my makeup to look fantastic, and I want it to look that way until I decide to take it off at night.  There’s no point in a bad-looking foundation, and there’s also no point in a great-looking foundation that only lasts 4-5 hours.  The latest lemming on my foundation lust list is the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Foundation ($44 USD / $43 CDN), boasting 24 hours (a little excessive, but if it can do it…great!) of flawless, soft perfection with a comfortable matte finish. Sounds heavenly!

    Every time I see someone apply the Teint Miracle foundation I’m amazed. I really need to get a sample.

    this is on my wishlist to, I think I will buy it for the summer , because also has full a light feeling , but full coverage

    It’s a really lovely foundation, definitely one of my favourites. It leaves a satin finish – leaning on the matte side.

    That said, I’m not convinced it lasts all day on my combination skin.

    That said, I do love it, and use it over Pore Professional as a primer and set with Laura Mercier translucent powder, which gives it a bit more staying power :)

    I’m having a bit of a bronzer moment–I’m totally lusting after Chanel’s new Soleil Tan de Chanel Luminous Bronzing Powders in Sable Beige and Sable Rose, the YSL Terre Saharienne Collector bronzer in Tanned, and Dior’s new Nude Glow and Healthy Glow bronzers. I wish I could afford them all, but right now I’m working on trying to pick just 2. It hasn’t been easy, by the way.
